hi other moms ~ maggiemae's first diaper rash seems to have turned into a little pimply/blister area. have any of you ever had your child get blisters/pimple like bumps from a diaper rash?

Yeah. All the time. I just coat her don with boudreaux butt paste, and then dump a lot of plain cornstarch (liek the kind you kind you cook with)on top of it so it's like plaster. My babies have super sensitive skin. Diaper rashes are my world.
Yeah could be yeast infection...however, Caroline seemed to have a chronic diaper rash that then was a yeast infection, did the antibiotic cream etc..then my mom suggested that we switch to Chlorine free diapers. My nephew did that b/c he was having tons of diaper rashes. When we switched in October it was maybe a day and her bottom was all better. She hasn't had a rash since! I think Chlorine free diapers are the way to go!!
I found your blog through a comment you left on Rocks in my Dryer. My sister has the same name and I thought for a moment you were her. But you aren't. Your blog is very cute though.

I meant coat her down, she doesn't have a don ;)
Erin,
If it doesn't get better it could be a yeast infection and you need to put a special cream on it. Call me and I can explain! J

Poor little thing. Sounds like yeast. Nystatin Cream will do the trick.
