update on mags!

so this is what is going on with the sweet babe this week~

1. she started walking on monday, i have not been able to get a video of it yet bc

2. she has her first bad cold, she has only had a 12 hr stomach virus since she was born, she has been really really heathly until this week, she has the crud bad

3. she started cutting her 4 top teeth last week

4. her crud has turned into an ear infection, her left ear :(

5. BUT, she walked from the bed to the closet tonight to get me and it was about 10 steps....she would have gone more i think but she got me :)

1. i secretly wish i could get paid to take pictures but i am not good at lighting and that is such a huge part of taking pics. (some of you probably knew that)

2. i am addicted to grey's anatomy and lost. cant wait for lost to start back next week!

3. once i got married i realized that i am a home body. i dont really like traveling out of town that much. when i was single i thought i wanted to travel around the world. now that i have a house and a family i dont like going anywhere for more than a day. go figure?

4. i love to blog. posting on my blog and reading others. there is an entire world out there that can keep you busy for hours. i love it! not that i have hours :)

5. i am about to start dieting hard core. i had to get ready mentally. and when i do, i eat weird stuff so i dont want to hear anything from my co workers when we see each other in the kitchen.

6. i never though i could love someone so much. now i understand how moms would die/kill for their children.

***** correction now i really feel like a bad mom, she is getting all 4 of her top teeth at the same time :(*****

my sweet baby is cutting her 2 top teeth right now. she already had the 2 on the bottom but those are easy to hide and when she smiles you dont really see them. but now you will see the top ones and i dont want her to get them! she wont be that sweet gummy baby anymore :( i really am sad about it.

not to mention she was really restless and uncomfortable last night so i know she is hurting and that makes me sad not to mention TIRED since it was a LONG night again. this is probably the worst week we have had in her 10 months. in the beginning at least we could comfort her with food or whatever when she woke up all the time. not now between 3-5 last night all she wanted was me to hold her. i didnt realize it was her teeth until this morning so mean mommy didnt handle last night too well. oh well today is a new day and i will be more prepared tonight :)

maggiemae is 10 months!

i cannot believe that little bugger is 10 months!! Wow! she is amazing. i fall more and more in love with her daily. she is so much fun. right now she is trying so hard to walk. she stands up now for a long time without help. she can go from one surface to the next without falling. she sort of took a step last night but not really. she sort of fell towards me. but she is almost there. c and i both walked at 9 months so my mom thinks she is being a slacker by not walking yet (of course she is kidding) but she will any day. you should see her on her walker toy, she thinks she is all that plus some when she gets that thing going. i will try to get a video of it soon.

anyway right now beside trying to walk she is fascinated with her tongue. she makes faces all the time and knows how to curl it so she does that all the time now.

she is not sleeping well right now. i dont think i shared this before but when she was trying to stop nursing one of the lactation ladies suggested feeding her at night when she is sleepy bc she would eat when she was tired and that might help to get her to latch on again. well we started doing that and that was fine when we were still nursing bc she was right there, i could go back to sleep easy etc...now she has stopped nursing all together but she still expects food in the middle of the night...not so easy when you have to get up and make a bottle. so our goal for this week and next is to get her unused to that middle of the night snack! not as easy as it sounds...it took about 2 hours to get her to go back to sleep last night. as i know you have read before we dont cry it out so when she wakes up i rock her back to sleep or feed her (before) and then all is well 5-10 min later. well last night she was a little bear :) but all is well today and we will give it another shot tonight. i just dont see myself getting up and going to the fridge to get her milk when she is off of formula so this needs to stop soon.
